Freak Buck shot in VA! Never seen this

    That is one ugly, but cool looking, freak of a buck!!

    Seems like I've seen that picture before in the past, and am pretty sure it was an antlered doe.

    I've seen several similar pics and they generally tend to be antlered does. They don't produce the correct hormones for proper antler structure or velvet shedding, rubbing activity and their necks are generally just like a doe's this time of year, larger than normal but not like a bucks.

    That was my first thought as well! Kinda resembles the 30 point doe shot in Illinois last year

    My current boss who is an excellent bowhunter, shot a "Medussa" buck many years ago. It looked crazy like that and it was from public land.

    Could be an antlered doe or could be a buck without testicles!! I have seen that twice here in jersey where they were missing!

    This was shot at a hunt club i hunt with every now and then in goochland county! they kill monsters every year! Every time i go one or two people will kill a wallhanger

    Yea I heard it was in that county. In surry last year I saw some beast killed.

    I talked to a guy one time who used to live and work out in CO on a ranch that said while they were haying every year, they would find a few Mule deer buck fawns and intentionally castrate them. He said it made them grow freakish oddball racks and every year the ranch owner would sell hunts and a few non-typical brutes were taken for big money.
