I got my peep sight tweaked a little bit and a few days later I noticed some lose thread (picture attached). Is it still safe to shoot? Should I take it by the shop? Thanks for the help!!

It is not a very clear picture. I can't tell if its the serving or the string. If it is the string it looks like a broken strand. I would definitely take it to a bow shop as you may have to replace the string.

Yeah like boiler man said its hard to tell if thats serving or string. There are usually 20-24 strands of material in a string. If its only one strand you can keep shooting but just check the strings between shots to make sure there are no other broken strands. If more start I would definitely get it replaced.

Upon further inspection it is definitely the serving that was tied off by the peep. Since this seems to not be a huge deal, I'm gonna go practice some more!

Happy hunting everyone and thanks for the help!!
