Why does my cable on my alphamax 35 continue to fray after about 100 shots every time I replace it, I keep everything waxed but I constantly have to replace the cable is there some thing wrong with my lower cam which is causing it to do this?

If the fraying is occurring where the lower cam contacts the cable then it certainly could be that. Have you inspected the cam very closely looking for any kind of foreign object or ding in the cam?

Can you post some pics? I have an Alphamax 35 and have not had this issue.

I also have an AlphaMax 35 and no problems. Every two weeks I wax it good even if I'm not shooting it.

My Bear bow does that too. I cant find anything on the cam that would be causing it, either. I just re-serve it when needed.

I have seen where bows that have a bent axle will chew up servings and cables. This should be something you should check.
