Daughter lives in Northern Arkansas and had a doe come up in the back yard yesterday morning and started having babies. When she finished there four fawns laying there. Wow! Never heard of quadruple fawns. Going to try to get a photo to post.

Having 4 is a feat. Feeding and raising all 4 to maturity even more so...

Cool story. I have been hunting in Arkansas for eleven years, never seen a doe with more than twins.

Three together and one got up for a stroll. Momma comes back to feed them in the back yard.

    AMAZING.

I've only seen triplets a couple of times.
You must have great feed, cover and genes.

Any idea what happened? Unless coyotes or some idiot came around, I can't imagine how four fawns died at once unless the mom just couldn't keep up with all the feeding and they starved.

That's what I was thinking. Stress the mom, stress the fawns.

Seems dogs down the road got to chasing the doe. She left them in the back yard but did not get back much to take care of them.

Circle of life. Damn shame the neighbor does not have the brains to control their dogs.
