What are the advantages of using one and would it be hard to switch to one from a normal trigger release?

Depending on how long you have been shooting a trigger style release it may be somewhat of a change at first. I have always shot a trigger style release and I have attempted to change, but i realized the handheld 4 finger release type just wasn't for me. But I would assume that after a while you will get used to it, and i guess it just depends on how much you shoot. A major advantage of using a handheld type release would be the elimination of target panic and the "trigger punch". The handheld release forces you to make every shot a surprise which will increase your accuracy and consistency. And also when you are hunting you can leave the release hooked onto your D-loop which eliminates the chance of hitting your metal release on anything that may create a lot of noise.
