    Well I got home from school and decided I'd take a walk around the timber and see if I could find any sheds. I never found any sheds, but I did find this carcass that looks as though it's actually from last year. It's not a huge buck, but with the genetics that we have in our area it would have been a monster given 2 more years. It had some pretty cool lookin brow tines as well, and decent tine length that would have been cool to see a couple years down the road, especially with the buck that was killed earlier this year on neighboring land with a tall narrower rack that grossed right at 200". Makes me sick to even think that this deer could have had similar genes.

    Whata shame. That's a sweet rack. To bad the feller had to meet his fate that way.

    Great find.....just sucks that you had to get him like that. At least you have the antlers.

    That was going to be one TALL rack. looks like it was already getting mass. to bad he will be around no more.

    Man, that would've been a nice deer for the wall. He's got some mass to the main beams.
