    Nice find, but I agree, I'd much rather find a shed. Sweet though.

    Cool find, is this on private or public ground? Too bad he's not still on the hoof. Was the rest of the carcass nearby to tell how he expired?

    Public property. I still know of 2 more this size there. I caught them fighting but couldnt get a shot. No one believed me when I said there were deer this size out here on public land.

    Cool find! Rarely find any around here there havent been chewed on by tree rats.

    Yeah, great find. I would rather find a shed too (hoping he's still out there) but its always cool to find something nice like that. Suprised he's not chewed up, obviously last year. Buddy of mine found a 14pt like that last year, really awesome.

    Yea he was a nice size. Those G2 are 16 inches long. The inside spread is roughly 22 inches

    Good find, but its always bittersweet finding them like that, would have rather had the chance to shoot him, but none-the-less still a good find

    need some help going to illinois in January and wanted to know what is the best clothing to wear while there to keep me warm. i will be now hunting so it can not be to bulky

    It will be in the 20-30s I am guessing. Right now at this moment it is 32 degrees. For the next 10 days it is going to be mid 20's to lower 30's!
