This picture is from a late season archery hunt last year. One of my FB friends shared it. Myself and some good buddies have had a lot of conversation about it. I was wondering if anyone else can see what we find odd about this bow kill.

Something else sticking out from its right shoulder? Old arrow? Maybe an old arrow wound?

All this is stuff me and my buddies talked about as well but the longest discussions we had were mostly about the arrow

I was going to say it has brow tines, shot while bedded or something in the front shoulder. Looks like all have been covered

Looks like the deer was in the tree stand and you were on the ground when you shot.

I'm unsure what you're talking about but the guy in the pic did a hell of a job holding that sob still while the hunter shot it. That was ballsy.

I'm not sure but if I was a betting person I would put my money that it was already dead when it was shot.

So this is an image a friend posted of himself and the deer? You guys just don't have the heart to confront him about it, but you all have your suspicions type thing?

Just trying to figure out the intent of the post

I was waiting for the answer, but now think there isn't one lol
