So I was in the woods today and came across a couple of oak tress, these are the first oaks that I have found on the property. I took a picture of the acorns and the leaf I found, I am thinking they are pin oaks but does anyone know what kind they are? and if this would be a likely food source for the deer come early fall next year?
Pin oak. Deer will eat them here in NC but kind of as a last resort. As Early In said, they prefer White Oak over all others
