GIRL!!! She is due at the end of April. I hate how everyone is asking if I was hoping for a boy. Well, kinda/sorta in a way but I'm just as pleased wth a girl. I think every guy hopes for a boy deep down. Not to sound too cliche, I just want her to be healthy. AND I just hope she will have the same love for the outdoors as I do. BUT thats a few years away. If you guys (parents) had one tip to tell a new father, what would it be? It doesn't necessarily have to apply to newborns. Anything at all.
Congrats, Finch!! I actually would like one of each some day. Since I don't have any right now, I can't help you with the advice.
Congrats! A week after the baby is born, you will think you know a new meaning to being tired. A month in, you will know you had no idea what tired was. On the serious side: *Get started on the baby proofing sooner than later. *Take good care of momma, 'if she's not happy...' *Establish routines, when she is born. Routine becomes your best friend, especially bed-time routines.
Congrats! We find out in January, what wer're having. I'll be happy either way. My wife has already agreed though that if we ever have two girls, we're adopting a boy for the third!
Thanks guys! I have a bathroom to finish remodeling and then will start on the nursery. Can't wait until she grows up a bit. This kid will have the best playhouse around. I love to build things so these won't be a problem! Good idea and one I've thought about too. I work with a guy that has 8 sisters. He was child #9.
Any more than 2 kids and you have to go to the zone defense...we have 3 boys and 2 girls. 20% have now moved out of the house...
Crap! I had a puppy for my choice in the pool. There goes another $1.00. On the serious side Donnie, you are in for the experience of a lifetime! Congratulations!!!!
