This could be my new bow. Whaddya think? As usual, there pretty much weren't any left handed bows for me to try out. I saw a couple of lefties at the bowtech booth but the guys in the shooting booth were not at all interested in letting me shoot one.
I think it's you Christine. And I saw those bows really spitting out the arrows at the booth. Not too bad for a kids bow.
Your lucky Todd didn't see you wearing that! You heard what he did to me the night before for wearing that stuff!!!
LoL, am I know that I am new and all, but what gives?....I thought Huntingnet and Bowhunting.com was in the same family?????
I actually shot that little bow - not the one with the pink limbs though. Sucker really flings some arrows out there pretty quick for how small it is. I think Pat told me the IBO rating was somewhere around 260 fps.
You'er right about that. I shot it too. Just had to. I couldn't believe how fast it was or how long the draw was.
We kind of joked about that. I have a bowfishing spot about 10 miles from here filled with silver carp. I was going to ride my bicycle up there last year (because gas prices sucked and I really need to lose at least 10 lbs) I just couldn't figure out how to carry my oneida with me on the bike. It would be easy to pack that little bow around and I believe it could spit a bowfishing arrow well enough to get some fish. It's too short for finger shooting but I guess I could use a release with it and a really long string loop to get it closer to my draw length. It would be a fun novelty. Gas prices aren't so bad now but I still could really use the exercise.
I'm interested in hearing more about this bow. My daughter will be 5 this spring and I wonder if this will fit her. It sounds like it has a lot of adjustment to it so it would last her a long time. Anyone have any info on it?
I fell for the Hoyt 32" ATA alpha that baby was nice and light. But I am keeping a open mind as I didnt get to shoot it.
Nuclear Ice… 14 – 23” draw length 10 – 30 lbs., which is achieved by moving a rocker in the limb pocket into one of three grooves or slots. You COULD back off the limb a turn or two if you needed to go down a pound or two, though it’s not recommended since there’s no “sight hole” to ensure you’re not backing the bolt out too far. NI carries an MSRP of $169 for bare bow, $199 w/ package.
