I found my first dead head this year while driving back home from work. Usually, I watch the fields and the sides of the road in hopes of seeing a shed. Well, I was successful today. Spotted this guy from at least 50 yards away. I pulled a yoooie and pulled over on the side of the fairly busy road. Got the head and high-tailed it out of there. :d This is the first shed/head I've found while driving. I've been fooled a few times by sticks and corn stubble but not today!!!

Thats awsome. I always watch while driving down the road in hopes of finding one but hasn't happened yet.

Definetly looks like it has been soaking for awhile. I actually like the look of it. To bad it won't stay that color!

Yeah, the little guy wasn't actually laying IN water but it has been raining all week here. So maybe thats why he looks the way he does.

I almost think he got hit by a car since this was near a busy road and it was also in the city limits. I dunno though...maybe the roadhunters have gotten a little braver.:bash:

Nice eye. I actually saw a black lab running through a hay field with a decent sized shed coming home from school the other day.

Nice find! I saw a doe on the side of the road on the way home the other day. At first I just noticed that it was a whitetail then stopped and checked to make sure it was just a doe. That's the closest I have gotten to finding a shed this year.:bash:

Did you trespass to grab that monster??? Just kidding, thats definitly impressive you spotted that. I get in trouble all the time for looking for deer while i drive but you took it to the next level.

Trespass...yeah I must have. :D It was a vacant commercial lot. I consider that public land.
