I shoot 3x week at Morley Field in San Diego. I am retired, shoot at 1100 am and usually I am the only one there. I like to take my time and I frequently walk around between strings. In walking behind the target backstops and the berm, I have found 4 very nice arrows, ave cost $8-$10, in good shape. The range is unmonitored so there is nobody there but me. I have posted a FOUND ARROWS sign at the entrance. 2 signs have been removed in the past week and nobody has called about the arrows. Anything else I should do? Or should I just shorten the arrows and add them to my quiver? IMHO archers who use a public range ought to put their phone number on their arrows, but I can understand peoples' reluctance to do that if there's a chance an arrow might go over the berm and do some damage in the parking lot behind it.

I wouldn't worry to much about it. You can do one of two things. Leave them somewhere near the shooting line and the owner or someone else will take them or keep them yourself. When I loose an arrow I search for it if I don't find it then I move on. If someone else finds it good for them!
