Still that was sure nice of you to share the history of the buck, I would have to had many beers to give up a shed off that buck:beer:

I wish this story had a different ending. I know you well enough to know you were very happy for the lucky hunter but I would have loved to see you write the final chapter of that story. Good luck getting on another buck and thanks for sharing all of your history and pictures with FC.

Wow what an awesome buck!! Bummer you weren't able to put a tag on him but at least you have some closure and aren't wondering what happened to him!

What a stud of a buck!! I've been through this exact thing in 2010. 165 inch typical my neighbor/cousin shot 1/2 mile from me December 1st with his ML. The buck was 5.5 years old. I had pics of him since a 2.5 year old. I passed him as a 3.5 year old. Mid 120's buck. At 4.5 years old in 2009 he imploded (mid 150's). I had him at 12 yards on my very 1st hunt on him. Hit him in the shoulder. Saw him 3 more times that year. On to 2010 I saw him 5 times. Had him with in 30 yards every time. Even had him as close as 10 yards but too many branches in the way. I was bummed when the neighbor got him. He had never saw this buck before. I had well over 2000 pics of him from when he was a 2.5 to 5.5 years old. I taped him when I went over to look at him and admire this buck. 165 inches on the nuts. 20.5 inside spread.

    You're a good man TJ.
