I'm both exited and bumbed out by this. I can only shoot 2 deer this year and only 1 buck. My plan was to shoot a doe and then wait for a nice buck, but it was getting dark and I couldn't see the horns. But it is only my second buck with a bow so that is cool. Now I have to get a doe and my season will be over :( I kind of don't want to shoot one right away, so I can hunt longer. I practiced all year and I would like to hunt more than 2 days, but we'll see what happens. I'll get some pics to post later. The camera we had was my parents so I have to barrow it to get the pics off it.

your season isn't over after the doe. Pick up a camera. Its a blast just trying to get within bow range of deer even if your only pulling the trigger on a camera.

I did it once with a shotgun several years ago.Too far to see the spikes.

Almost did it a couple years ago but I studied the body before making the shot and realized that I was not looking at a doe.

BUT,congrats ,a bowkill is something to be proud of.
