So I just came back from a long vacation (2weeks) and I was away from my bow completely, I left shooting fine just like normal and when I came how I picked up the bow and it is like I am shooting for the first time before I left I had two inch groups at 25 yards now I am lucky to shoot a 5 inch group. I worked on it today and got a little better but still doesn't feel normal. Anybody else ever have this happen?

Yup.. Muscle memory gone AWOL since you were off doing other things. In a week you should be back to where you started. Hang in there.

Also give your bow a once over to make sure nothing has been knocked off or stretched. That could happen too.

What's an easy way to tell if my string stretched?

Hmm I usually get and axel to axel measurement after I get things setup. It should be close to specs. But if you didn't already have that you could still measure it and then compare it to specs.

If you have an arrow level you can use that to check to see if the arrow is still level on the bow too. One level goes on the string and another goes on the arrow. both should be close to level.

    Does that help?

She's just angry that you didn't talk to her for two weeks.
