I just got done prepping my two licking ropes I will put out Sunday and sprayed some buck fever synthetics forehead gland on them and noticed it had very little to almost no smell. I know this gland releases pheromones and not so much of a stank, but I was pretty surprised at the lack of smell.

well remember that a deer nose is a more sensitive than ours so what we think does not smell smells a lot to a deer. it make me think when i spray does in estrus it stinks i can see why a buck can smell a hot doe from a long way away!

I've had and have very good success with buck fever synthetic products, nothing to worry about.
