I bought a folding one from Gander Mtn. It is triangular in shape, and has a back rest. A back rest is definitely a must. I also added one of those therma seat foam cushion. Help keep you a little warmer and comfortable for those long sits. In fact, I liked the first one so much, I bought another one for my son to use.
As much as you would enjoy the comfort, Don't get one with arms... You'll have to reposition significantly to clear them from your bottom limb.
Wow, I was going to suggest the Huntmore 360 but I had no idea of the hefty price tag that came with it! YIKES.
I use the Double Bull stools, now they are owned by primos... I love them https://shop.primos.com/pc-1138-140-qs3-magnum-ground-swat-camo.aspx
I'm going to have to go with a small lawn chair from walmart $5 each. WAY more comfortable than ANY stool ever thought about being, has arm rests too. Only problem I don't much like is it does squeak some when positioning...but that is from me leaving it on the boat in the ocean and the parts rusting over. New one didnt have this problem. The small triangle type stools with a backrest will do fine as well, but arent near as comfortable. You will learn this FAST sitting in a blind for 12-13 hrs a day out west hunting waterholes for pronghorn for days on end. I've never been so bored in my life at times, lol.
I use a triangular stool with a back on it like the several of the others have described. I was thinking about checking out the Huntmore 360, until I saw Bols and DL84's post:evil: Are they nuts? They must be made out of precious metal or something to cost that much!
Don't shoot the messenger?!? Please!!! From what I understand it IS a slick seat, I have seen one in person, just haven't sat in it. Pricing is a little extreme though, too rich for my blood.
