For anyone who uses or has used eye gadgets i'm sure you have all seen the "halo" effect one gets when looking at headlights at night? Problem is, i'm getting that with my pins. My sight currently has .029" pins and when i'm 40+ yards they start to get big, real big.

I have a Montana Black Gold and can easily update all, or just a few, pins with .019" fibers. My question is; Is this going to cure my problem, or is this just an inheirent trait of using contatcs/glasses?

You need to get a verifier lens peep.

I "think" the company is called SAP that makes them.

I've been having the same problem lately. I've been wearing contacts for over 10 years and it wasn't always like this. I just started noticing the past couple of years. I'll be looking into the verifier peeps myself.

I have noticed that happens to me when I don't take my contacts out at night. But when I do take them out, the pins never get the halo around them. I also switched to the .19 pins, but I didn't really notice any difference between the two.

I usually don't have a problem but when I do, it's when I've had them in for more than 12 hours. Also, they might just need to be cleaned or replaced.
I've never tried the lens on the sight, but I do use smaller pins. (.20 and smaller)
