I got my 1st new ML, today. I did a lot of research/looking, and I made the decision to go with the CVA Accura V2 in black/stainless.

Just a few random pics. The stock and forend finish is kinda like the invelvet finish. I really like that feature.

I bought my mounts, today, too. Gonna figure out whether I want to swap a few scopes around....or just buy a new one for this ML. I hate to take the one off the Optima when it's dead-nuts on.

If you're in the market for a new ML....at least look at these (my suggestion).

Looking forward to doing a little predator hunting, this winter/spring.

That is $50 more than Gander ...

Listen to this ... Cabelas left a message on my phone telling me that my back ordered CVA was cancelled  They stated they were not getting anymore in ... I am assuming of the 2010 ...

I dont get it ... How can they not honor the purchase???

Look on their web-site now ... the CVAs have wrong pics and higher prices ,,,,:throw:

I just watched a show on Shooting USA about the Bergara barrels. These ML threads have made me rethink what I was going to get in a new firearm (shotgun). With the ML I can hunt twice as long and I even have my wife interested. Matter of fact she is going fox hunting with me tomorrow. Oughtta be sweet.

Good luck, Bruce (to you both).

Honestly, I haven't decided HOW I want to hunt with these things. Part of me wants to not change anything (hunt the same places). Part of me KNOWS there's places on the farms I hunt that I don't hunt now....because of the complete random-ness of how bucks travel through there, during the rut. I don't hunt there, now....because I KNOW it would be frustrating.

    Conundrum!

What I like is learning the guns and what they like to shoot. I got REALLY lucky with my 1st ML. I got the recipe right, quick.

Let us know how it goes!

Bruce, have you seen the ML barrel for the Mossberg 500's? Kinda best of both worlds.

I am jonesing for a Savage slug gun...best of only one world.

I have a CVA in-line...shoots decent. Never quite got used to the slight delay. Haven't shot it in a few months. Got the .45 cal which I regret.

The Savage slug gun is what I really want but I may put that off a year. Haven't seen the ML barrel for Mossberg 500's and I have one but, if/when I get a ML, I want one of the best of only one world there and Jeff has done the legwork for me. After seeing the Bergara barrel show on Shooting USA, seeing what he bought and then seeing what NEW61375 posted about the QR breech plug I'm kind of sold on this ML. Also 2 times the hunting time with the ML versus the Savage.

Easy, they can't sell something they don't have and probably can't get just ONE so they have to cancel the order.Sucks but their hands may be tied on this one.

Nice ML Jeff and a pretty good deal.

Then you're shooting the wrong powder/primer. I experience 0 delay.

I found out yesterday, my new bowshop owner can buy CVA's (he has an account). Lot of good that did me....after I'd already bought this one.

    His cost is $328.

    I'd say I did OK.

I think they should give you your money back.(did they?)

They should have explained what happened. We are speculating as to what happened and it may be totally out of their control.

It appears you may have ordered a 2010 but they couldn't get anymore and the 2011 were all that was available but they cost more.

If that is the case, they should offer you a new one at a discounted price but I am only assuming that is what happened.
