I remembered your thread while sitting in the stand but rather than pics, here's my view all morning. I did see 4 deer, a spike then 1/2 hour later, momma doe and her fawns. I took no shots although offered.

What's cool too is the built in digital camera in the GL2. The first photo and the last photo were taken with the GL2, the other 3 were taken with my Sony digital camera.

Remember the Miss NC that GMMAT filmed. Turkey Miss I'm impressed with this camera EXCEPT the low light time, JZ eluded to that. I know I can shoot long after the camera light is over.

Don't know how you can go a sit there without seeing a deer?? Neat setup, Rob. Is that other stand yours too?

that's a nice spot you have. that camera also doesn't look like your run of the mill birthday/christmas family video camera.

John, that ladder stand I put up for my landowner. He's afraid of heights and after we built that permanent stand with poles and lumber, he never got in it so I bought the ladder stand and put it there for rifle season. I had him go in and out a few times to get comfortable and once he was in, he was happy but alas, he never used it either. He sits in a shed he moved out there but he can't see very well from the ground view. I filmed this buck one rifle season while he sat to my left in a "shed" blind.

    Big 8 Point

I got him out of the shed and he put a stalk on it and raised his rifle twice but never shot. Damn shame, it'd been his best buck. Had he been in that permanent stand, he'd had maybe 100 yard shot, as is, he couldn't see that buck.

Thanks guys, I'll be out again tonight after work for my 3rd sit, 2nd day.
