Dang that looks good vito! Made me go pull some meat out of the freezer for tommorow.

I'm somewhere in the middle between the hookers of the world (that doesnt' even sound right) and the burger/mac n cheese world. I enjoy cooking and making meals. I like finding new things to experiment with. Not quite to the high end level though.

My brother on the other hand is a 5 star executive chef. Finished 2nd in the running for head chef at the White House. Head chef for Jack Nicklaus and his home country club for years. Now he's in PA at some club cooking for big wigs. Unreal the things he can cook. He makes my brain hurt talking about food. He makes skunk taste good.

So are you saying skunk doesn't taste good by itself without some executive chef to spruce it up?

    I'm the same way

I don't cook with "gourmet" ingredients every night. I enjoy cooking for others, so the wife's little meeting allowed me to get a bit creative and have some fun in the kitchen. They all seemed enjoy it, even when I explained the ingredients for pate. Of course, at that point, they had all had a few of my watermelon mimosas, so I really could have just served them Velveeta dip and they would have been happy.

I made my wife and her friends some burgers and fries tonight, then lied around on the couch within 5 feet of their meeting area.

So sorry to hear your arugula was slightly wilted. Hope it was a good year for figs, I just havent gotten out lately to hear.

This is making me hungry, think I will go make what I like to call: French Pastry Scones. (peanutbutter toast with honey).
