Or anyone else looking for a great deal on 30rd magazines for an AR. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/featured/dh-5-56-30rd-aluminum-mag.html
Sorry I fail to see the humor. Neither do the families of the 32 victims at Virginia Tech, the 6 victims in Arizona, the 12 dead in Colorado, and most recently, the 7 killed in Wisconsin. All of whom were killed with semi-automatic weapons equipped with high capacity magazines. How lucky that they are getting cheaper. Seems a lot of the whacko's that kill people with them dont have a lot of money. Lucky for them, these tools have just become a little more accesible. Pray it never happens to any of us. I wonder if the person that decided to shoot up New York City this morning got a good deal on his equipment?
That mindset is why you need to buy some. Buy a hundred. Leave them out in the open. See how many people they kill. See if they turn you into a murderous lunatic. They won't. Anymore than owning a semi-automatic rifle will. Or a semi-auto pistol. A lot of the victims in Aurora where shot with the lunatic's shotgun. A pump action gun. The media calls any detachable magazine 'high capacity'. The drum magazine used in Aurora worked just like anyone who knows drum mags. They're a novelty that fails like clockwork. (and they cost well over 100.00) Is there a point in which the 'tool' is safe by your standards? Is 20 rounds okay? 17? 15? 10? 5? 3? Because if you could, by some miracle, vaporize every 20+ magazine today. The next time someone uses a 15 round magazine... they'll be a call to ban those. And so on. Or you could skip the blame the magazine all together and go right to ban any gun with a detachable magazine. Of course, that wouldn't stop murders either. Kind of like making MURDER illegal hasn't stopped murders. Chicago is well on it's way to having over 500 murders this year. They have an 'assault weapon' ban. A high capacity magazine ban, a defacto handgun ban, conceal carry ban.... They always blame the weapon. Blaming the weapon (or it's parts) doesn't solve anything.
In light of recent events (including this morning) I still find this in poor taste. Blame the equipment or blame their mother's for not breast feeding, either way, a lot of innocent people have been taken away from their friends and family with the very equipment you joke about. I simply fail to see the humor in it all. I can respect your opinion that you should be allowed access to high capacity magazines and semi-auto weapons. I just dont agree that they make any of us safer. By the way, I believe it's illegal for you to posess weapons grade plutonium or uranium. I fear that your rights have been trampled.....dont you? Help! Help! We're being oppressed!!!
