I might be hunting in NC this year with a friend of mine. We are going to be down there at some point helping our church build a structure of some sort. Does anyone know anything about areas with high deer densityies. I have heard that the north central part of the state has a lot of deer. Not sure yet where we are going to be exactly. Any advice would be appreciated.

The whole state has good pockets of deer but the northeastern part of the state and the central hunt zone are the best in my opinion.

nat's right (numbers). You'll find healthy numbers most everywhere in the state. But, the central and coastal regions hold the most.

    Bow or gun hunting?

Let me know when you find out where you're going to be. I'll do anything I can to help you.
