I'm a huge fan of Bill Winke. I have been since my teens. I'm a huge fan of his articles and his ability to consistantly kill mature deer with a bow and stay out of the spotlight of the commercialized hunting industy. I follow his internet show and read every artical of his I can get my hands on.

This is a buck that Larry Zach killed a few days ago in Iowa. You may all know of Larry's art work of whitetails. Probably the best whitetail artist in the world.

I don't see how this deer with not net close to 200" typical. Larry says he will not have it scored. Just wanted to post this as this is the most impressive typical buck I've seen in several years.

Great story and a great buck. Never had the pleasure of meeting Larry but Bill's a standup guy and I really enjoy pretty much everything he's done from writing and photography and now into Midwest Whitetail. Good stuff.

Huge Bill Winke fan here as well - top whitetail guy if you ask me...and drops everything when it's time for his kids to go! Also enjoy his Midwestwhitetail.com webshows...

Me three, I've always read Bills work and like what he has to say. Wow, great buck there as well. Love it when you see a typical 7 side, very rare.
