Football Star's Hobby, Bow and Arrow Hunting.

I know their are some out of state Philadelphia Eagles fans on this site and I was not sure if they were aware, their is a pretty big bow hunting enthusiast on the team in defensive end Trent Cole. He already has his own series of hunting DVD's (Whitetail Blitz) and is planing on opening his own archery shop sometime soon. It's a bit of an old article, but shows how cool of a guy he is and how passionate he is about bow hunting.

I think the was a football player of some fame from Green Bay (I think number 4) that was a bowhunter.

 

Cool, I did not know Brett Favre was a bow hunter.

 

I met Cole at the Sportsman Show in Harrisburg. Very down to Earth guy. We had a good 5 min. conversation about hunting in PA and DE.

 

What about Bo Jackson, huge archery enthusiast and a great guy to boot.....Blake

Ya I have met him twice now, he is a very cool guy. The funny thing is when I ran into him my buddy asked him about a football game from the previous year and he was polite and answered him, but when I asked him about bow hunting he just lit up and talked to use for like 10-15 min. He is definitely one of the good guys.

 

Cool, I didn't know that about Bo Jackson ether. I think I read some where that Jared Allen bow hunts too. Bowhunter Mag just had a article about Justin Tuck going on his first Javelina bow hunt.

 

I think its really cool that a pro athelete is just one of the guys when it come to hunting.

 

Yes Sir and I would love to hunt with him.

 

There are a bunch of football, Singers, Baseball, and Hockey stars that hunt! What could be any better than to hunt?

 

I met him a couple of times and customized his Silverado (my former career)... great guy indeed!
