Little dude is one difficult guy to tackle that's for sure.

It'll be interesting seeing Bama have to play AT A&M early this season after both teams are improved.

Jadeveon Clowneys comment about going after Manziel was awesome at media day!

Not sure what to think about this kid. Yesterday there was an article that said he was struggling at the Manning camp because he wasn't in football shape. Looks like a one pump chump to me. Hope he proves me wrong.

Tebow was a Sophomore when he won, Johhny was a red-shirt freshmen(Sophomore). We can see who handled the pressure better and who has more character.

We sure have, but not football pressure on the field. We will see how he handles it this season, and what will be interesting to see how he plays. DC will have plans to stop him, so it will be interesting.

Exactly, you are looking at some of the best minds in the business with months to look at film. No matter what it was going to be a tough year for Johnny Football, his apparent lack of focus this spring/summer will not help the situation.

I would sincerely become an A&M fan if they cut that moron.

Well, week 1 down and its clear Manziel is a dbag. Though i kinda like his style, hes going to get himself in trouble. Its obvious his coach doesnt know what to do either...how do you not play a Heisman trophy QB?

I love that he is saying screw what you think I should live like, I'm a college kid.

Yes he is a punk. But as for life choices, I know I did stuff much worse than JFF has been accused of so far in the articles bringing up his "character issues". It's called being an under age college kid, and it's awesome he is refusing to give that up, even as a heisman. lol

I think it goes both ways...like i said, i kinda like his rebel style, but he is in a position where more maturity is required. Not everybody can play QB at the college level and he needs to embrace that, not mock it.

But whatever, i dont really care that much lol

I just give him more slack than most I suppose. If he is in the NFL still acting like this as a 23 yo then I'd agree, a 20 yo living on campus at a huge SEC school.... I could only hope I would be as tame as he has been.

I actually kinda feel bad for the kid... I understand that he won the heisman and subsequently has more eyes and attention on him, but the spotlight that's being put on him for petty things is kinda bs. I wish they would put that much negative attention towards the kids that are getting in trouble for assaulting women or breaking actual laws. How often do you see players talking sh*t and pushing each other around after a play? I see it almost every down honestly and most often it doesn't draw a flag.

He has a lot of haters, especially on the opposing D. Can't blame him for smack talking back but walking away from sumlin on the sidelines is a bad move. I like the confidence and it looks like despite all the attention the kid can still play ball.

I think Sumlin will be able to control it to the extent it needs to be to win games.

Can't say I really pay attention much, in another few years these conversations will be "What ever happened to that Johnny Football guy?"
