More like Bully-poop. Somebody needs to smack that parent.

Have you seen that in some place there's a fine to the team and coaches suspended if the team wins by more than 35 points?!!

Seriously, people need to get over this fairness crap.

Usually this. It's a great time for the non starters to get a lot of time.
I'm with you on all this B.S fairness crap, but running up the score is unsportsman .
Unless the other team is just so bad that 3 legged blind turtles could beat them, then its the other teams problem.
More than likely there's a personal grudge somewhere between the two teams or the coach's kid is the qb etc...

The winning team did in fact pull the starters early on. They also asked for a running clock. They quit passing also. They were just that much better I guess.

I was always taught that if you have the chance to run up the score you do it. It sucks to be those guys on the receiving end of that beat down, but there's a lesson in it: "You suck." Kids don't want to work for it anymore because they know someone is going to complain about how its not fair and get the rules changed. It gives kids a sense of entitlement for everything. I know I struggled with it coming out of High School. Wish I would've learned it sooner.

well it says they only ran like 32 plays. and most of them were rushes. sounds like the other team was just that bad. not much you can do in that situation.

Really? This makes me want to puke. You could not be more wrong. You want to go tell those kids that they "suck" because they dont excell at a sport? Because they aren't gifted in football? It takes a small mind to think that the only winners in life are on an athletic field. Honestly, this may be one of the most disturbing things I have ever read here.

Sports can help teach you about yourself and provide life lessons. They are not the be all end all of who is tough, who is smart, who rises to the occasion, etc. They are just games.

    That being said..."bullying". Really?

As a competitor I would have been more upset about the other team pulling its starters and deviating from its original game plan because they felt sorry for us, than I would have been about them kicking our rear end 91-0.
