I heard from someone the other day who talked to a game warden, that they are thinking about banning the use of mock scrapes for that is now considered baiting to some game wardens. Oh really, but you can make a big pile of corn and shoot everything with your gun. This is the kind of crap that ruins it for us hunters. To begin with how would they ever tell if you made the scrape or the deer?

Selfbros..I know it was a joke lol...a good one too!Thats a big pile of corn!!

Gutone4me...I've used the black magic rack rock and the deer love it! not sure what the mineral/salt content is though.

Hoyt "N" it...unless you had a scrape dripper above the scrape they really wouldn't be able to tell unless they put extremely well hidden cameras out...?..

Checked a bag of Black Magic today 97% salt while the deer may love it It can't be in the class of mineral and does more harm than good for the deer. If you are at all interested in the health of your deer please look at other options with less than 25% salt :D

gutone4me, thank you for the information, seeing as how i already have the bag I will still be trying it. But that will keep me more concious to check the content of other products in the future. Is there anything that you would recommend.
However I really do not see myself using attractants year-after-year. The main purpose is to help establish my new site, as I am creating quite a ruckess in there lately getting it setup. Also trying to setup a small food plot with Antler Kings Food Plot Starter Kit, main reason I am trying the kit is because it has several different types of seed in it and I want to see what is going to grow best in that area.

Myself and many of the guys on here have had great luck with Monster Raxx trophy minerals :tu: I guess it could be called an attractant but it is also improving the health of your deer so it's a win-win putting it out :D
