Im still pretty new to planting food plots and have a couple questions. Last August I planted winter rye and oats in my food plot. I did spray for weeds and put lime down. Im wanting to plant something different this summer but not sure what to do with the winter rye that grew up this spring. There is some weeds that came back also. Can I just till it under then plant something else? Or do i have to spray it to get rid of it? Thanks!

If you use a tiller on living rye it will bind up in your tiller, I would hit it all with round up then till it in.

You can disk it in or spray it and then disk it in. Sota is correct, it plugs the crap out of roto-tillers.
