Finished up mowing my Monster Raxx clover plots that were planted last fall. The clovers are doing great and I plan on spraying them this weekend to finish off some weeds that are popping up. I'm wanting to increase the size since this plot is only a 1/4 acre so I mowed another 1/2 acre and will be planting the Last Heart Beet mix in the new 1/2 acre area and I will leave the 1/4 acre clover standing. Another MR clover plot The back of this plot will be planted in the Raxx Factor mix
Nice, sadly I didn't get mine early enough to get it in the ground this spring so gonna have to wait a couple more months.
Here is Here is 1 month old Perennial Plus, that a friend sent me. The reason why this perennial clover mix looks nice and why mine exploded out of the ground last years is because of this... It is inoculated with am organic/OMRI certified product/ PREVAIL is a ready to use, clay based, pre-inoculant designed to improve early seedling vigor through increased root development and excellent nodulation. PREVAIL not only contains high levels of rhizobium for nitrogen fixation, but it's also infused with Azospirillum bacteria, an organic biological plant growth promoter unlike any other on the market today. I have been doing some trials on using growth promoters, specifically Azospirillum. I can't wait to the winter wheat can be harvested to see how the yields shake out.
Clethodim, but after checking the plots yesterday I might be able to control the weed/grass with mowing only.
Heck yeah!! Wish I knew Monster RAXX was coming out with seed like that last year when we put our plots in. May have a brassica plot so I'll have to look into that one.
