This 1/2 acre was super thick before the sweating began. I used a chain saw, trail mower, and the tractor work was a Deere and a King Cutter 6 ft tiller.

Waiting on rain this weekend and will plant next week. The soil sample came back with a PH of 7.1

I planted winter peas, brassicas, and winter wheat today and now it's pouring rain( yea baby!!). I top sowed it off with clover plus. This is the only food source around for a while. I just hope the deer enjoy it.

Looked today and all wheat seed I could see had already busted open and was establishing its root. Looks like great germination so far. Another week will tell for sure

Update. The seed is up and out of the ground. Deer tracks already in it. More updates to follow.

The creek on the west side acts like a funnel and it is really close to the middle of the property.
