In the last year, I have acquired permission to hunt an 85 acre property in central North Carolina. The property is entirely trees ranging from pine thickets to mature oaks with creeks that run parallel with the property lines. The neighboring properties accumulate to nearly 1,000 acres and are owned by various farmers that severely over hunt the area due to deer disturbing their crops. My question, although it may sound dumb to those more educated than myself in agriculture, is there any type of deer and/or turkey forage that would lure them in year-round, yet promote a healthier herd and antler growth that is shade tolerant? Any and all advice or ideas are appreciated. Thank you in advance, Phillip Howard
I had questions this winter about the spring and a guy on my team had good ideas. I am trying his seed in the spring. He is on here a lot and goes by Monsterraxx, I would pm him.
