Foid card pictures, where can get them?

Me and my dad gotta renew our cards, its a huge pain in the a$$ because i have yet to find a place that takes 1.25in x 1.5in photos, do you guys know how I can get them done?

 

I have heard some say a passport photo is that size and I think walgreens dose them.

 

I just printed mine on my computer on regular stock paper. They didn't say a word about it.

yeah same as Fergie, i just printed mine out and they took it. or maybe cause the pic was sooooooooooooo damn ugly!

 

x2 on printing mine out. I usually wait until the last minute, in the hopes that this blatantly unconstitutional law will be overturned. Hasn't happened yet.

 

Do you have an IL Driver's License? Because you'll drive to where ever, spend the money for that stupid picture.. cut it, attach it to the form............... and they'll end up putting your driver's license photo on it.

 

Yea I found out from a state cop that the only reason they have you send one in is to compare it to your DL pic. And yes they do put your DL pic on the FOID card.

 

I did not know that. Glad I don't spend any money on the dam thing!

 

Man, what a pain in the butt. I thought NY was tough. At least we don't have to deal with a FOID Card. Never heard of it before. Had to google and up pops.... Illinois FOID. Idiots in charge.

you got it dude.... I thinks its a good thing to have the FOID cards. I mean id much rather have to deal with FOID cards than Obama ruling out to take away our guns.

 

What dose FOID cards or any other gun law have to do with keeping guns out of criminals hands? I'll agree it dose prevent them buying them legally but that is it. A criminal/ gang banger can get a gun easier then any of us. Laws against hand guns( I.E. Chicago) Obviously don't prevent crime! Oh and laws against automatic weapons sure prevents a drive by with a AK-47! NOT!!!! Just my two cents! I hate that they make it hard for a law abiding citizen to defend themselves but it is just as easy as it has always been for criminals to get guns!

I never wanted to get one when I live in IL but after a couple years of keeping my guns acrossed the river in my HOME STATE of IOWA I just Broke down and got the damn thing. Still not sure it was a good idea. I dont have to register for any other constitutional amendments do I?

 

I figured you where but there are many people in this dam state that think that and it is kinda a touchy subject with me. My comments weren't directed towards you. Just more a general statement.

Just got my renewed FOID card in the mail today - has my DL picture on it, not the one I sent in (my goatee was longer on the one I sent in, my hair was different, and the background was a different color). What a waste for an unconstitutional requirement!

 

It's all about the $$$$$$ and to make it harder on gun owners.
