I went to Fogo De Chao in Minneapolis for the second time last night and it has to be my favorite restaurant to go to. I definitely liked the Picanha the best. They have a hell of a salad bar also.
I love Brazilian food! I have never been to the place you are talking about but I have been to Sal and Carvo and Texas de Brazil many times. You have to really be a meat lover like my family and myself too really like these places. Does the place you go to use the green and red chips for service? The green side up tells the gauchos to keep the food coming and red tells them to stop. And yes the salad bars are awesome and really fresh.
Went to one in Boston post a bachelor party, although I forget the name of ....the meal was 27 courses and excellent.
Love that place!!! Made the mistake my first time hitting that massive salad bar. Big mistake stay away from the salad. They have that to try and fill you up so you eat less meat! Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2
Been to the one in Chicago a half dozen times or so. If you want a guaranteed case of the meat sweats that's the place to do it. The food is always fantastic, but the service there is also among the best I've ever received at a restaurant.
I've been to the one in DC as well as Baltimore. It is a great meal and always a good time, but I have to admit, it is a once, maybe twice a year event for me. Excellent service, great cocktails and wine list but all in all it's a lot of meat and definitely not a weekly hangout spot.
We have one in Indy. I haven't been there yet but I am planning to do so hopefully pretty soon. I'm going to Brazil next week, can't wait to see what the food down there is like!
Been to the one in Dallas. A meat-atarians dream and it was delicious! The waitress' honest guidance was don't fill up at the salad bar, but it was a fantastic outlay.
I left Baltimore for the Adirondack Mountains in early 2007. They didn't have one of those when I was there. We used to make a monthly visit to all the "right" spots for a great meal... and I never heard of this one. Damn, I missed one. No way will I find one of those where I live. I still like Theo Pepes. LOL
My girlfriend lived in Brazil for 7 years. So I've had the enjoyment of being able to try some foods from down there with her family. I might have to take her to this place sometime. Just to see if its at all alike food wise and so she can read the menu.
I went to a Brazilian steak house in Atlanta twice while traveling for work. It was absolutely spectacular.
Been to the one in Houston once. Great service and the food is fantastic! Stay as far away from salad bar as humanly possible!
My wife and I went to a Brazilian steakhouse....in Brazil. We ate like kings for about $10 US dollars.
Hey all! Well I just got back to the hotel from dinner... at a fogo da chao style... in Sao Paulo, Brazil! Best part, company paid! That along with a few cachashas makes for a great evening! I sitll haven't been to one in the US but I probably will soon after I get back.
I absolutley love that place. a bunch of my buddies went there our senior year and we definatley ate our moneys worth, even though it was expensive well worth it.
