I have decided to put away my spinning rods until I get better with fly fishing. Doing this, I will need to get a kayak better suited for fly fishing, my current sit-in kayak just doesnt cut it.

So far, the two that I have been looking at the most are the Jackson Cuda kayaks and the Diablo kayaks. One of the big selling points for me is going to be stability since I will doing some standing to cast. This kayak will also be used to go on regular beer drinking floats too.

I have not in anyway decided on one or either, for that matter. Just was looking for some help and if anyone fly fishes out of a kayak, or has used one of these boats, your opinion would be appreciated.

I want to be able to pratically roll out into the water or sit on the side of it. Is it that stable?

You're not going to be able to do that in a Cuda. The Cuda is much, much more tippy than the Native.

The Diablo is stable as hell, but it is also a freaking tank in the water.

I really do like the Diablo but I was afraid it would be oversized.
