Depends on how much you want to spend and how big the camera you are using is. The Manfrotto 701 is a good head but i believe it got replaced by the MVH500AH but i could be wrong, I have the 701 and it works great.

Looking to spend around 120. I may be dreaming tho. Is this feasible?

You can get a Manfrotto 701HDV for that price. It's a very good head and will work on larger cameras if you upgrade. Unless you plan on paying for two, just buy a good one the first time. They are one of the more important parts of the system. You want smooth video, without the camera jerking everytime you move it. A good head will do that, a cheap one will leave you frustrated with your final product.

Just ordered the muddy outfitter arm and a wicked saw for $10. A work incentive paid the rest! Cant beat that.

I bought a "cheap" camera arm on amazon (like $25) & it actually works really well. I wasn't looking to make TV shows or anything but just wanted to get the "kill" shots on video so I had something to look back on to double check shot placement, deer behavior (post shot) etc. I have an older sony handycam (wedding gift) that my wife agreed to let me use & I was in business.
