They're the perfect age for Disney. Just don't try it in one day.

That's why I said not one day. Get a room at the one of the park motels and come and go as you please. The 5 year old will love it.

I think I was about 5 my first time.

Disney and Orlando has alot more to offer. The water parks are alot of fun as well.

But it's all in what they want as a family vacation.

I dread the day my daughter asks to be taken to Disney World. It's just not my thing.

She'll be 5 on New Year's Eve and he'll be 8 in January. We were thinking about waiting one more year so she was a little bit bigger. We definitely wouldn't do it in a day. They're very well behaved kids, especially on trips, I just want to make sure she's big enough to enjoy it, yet not be too old.

I was there twice when I was younger and it's not my thing either. But, I'll do it for the kids and Jill.

    same here

I'll just hit Epcot, which seems like a somewhat cool place, if it wasn't for all the fatmobiles driving around...

I've done Disney probably 20 times. Started very young. But when I was younger I was visiting relatives. My whole immidiate family loves it.

We don't care much for Epcot but it's ok.

San diego zoo is a cool place as well as the wildlife park out there. Disneyland is alot smaller and much less crowded. Might be easier on mom and dad when you decide to take them but it is a lot less "magical"

I never went and was not a fan, but after being their with my kids I would go again with them. I will admit I had a blast.

Legoland in Carlsbad is a blast too. My kids choose it over Disneyland. Thought they were nuts at first.

Key West is not kid friendly. The weed guy was a treat.

If the trip is centered around the kids entertainment. I'd do Disney.

If it is for a warm weather beach trip, any chance you can go in the summer after tax season?

If your looking for warm weather your best bet is the keys but it can be really expensive down there. If your looking for a little more i would still suggest the St.Pete-Clearwater area.

Nope. I pumpkin/squash/vegetable farm for our 12 grocery stores now and can't get away for that long during the summer.
