Yup, the recent record floods around here have gone down. Our efforts in the deep water the other morning saved a lot of our fish. We probably lost 35-40 percent to several causes I won't go into. Our make shift temporary floating hatching tanks and tray holders saved a ton of fish. We got everything back down to normal today and those that survived look really good. We dumped all the trays and the fish are now in the tanks to swim free. They took to the tanks like crazy. Food introduction has begun, although it'll probably be a while before they start feeding heavy and growing like weeds. Our little fish club was recognized and given a special award tonight for our efforts. The New York State Outdoorsman Hall of Fame usually recognizes individuals for there efforts to expand the outdoor life to others. They inducted 8 individuals and us this year. They thought our small group should be recognized and inducted for what we've done over the past 15 years. Kinda cool. I didn't know they even knew who we were. LOL Anyway, a bunch of us went to the annual awards banquet tonight. Pictures, plaque and plenty of food. LOL

Nice job on the fish rescue.

And congrats on making the Hall of Fame before Mcquire did.
