Had a question and looking for anything from opinions to recommendations. Saw a sight made by Option that has fixed pins plus a floater pin. The pin itself moves within the housing while the housing stays set. This sight is roughly $400. I am just getting back into archery but I like this concept versus the other adjustable/floating sights that the housing moves up and down to adjust for yardages. Also on the Option sight, you can flip the fixed pins out of the way when you are trying to use the floater pin to clear the sight picture. Not necessarily a must for me but just wanted to note that feature. Does anyone know of other sights that are like the Option sight so I can look for price ranges or different versions of this type of sight? Does anyone believe this type of sight is not a good option and why? I don't care if the sight has any fixed pins, I'm more looking for a sight that has floater pin that only the pin moves within the housing to adjust yardages. Thanks in advance for any help. I currently shoot a fixed 4 pin sight set at 10,20,30,40.
May be tough to find but I shot a G5 optix XR for a couple years. I don’t think they make them anymore. The XR2 would be a decent option too.
That is exactly what I was looking for. I tried to look for other sights myself and I don't know if I was overlooking them or what. I just couldn't pick them out. Thanks
