I am trying my hardest to find a string for my bow and it just seems like I keep running into set-backs haha Now I am hearing different things about the floating and static yoke.

My bow is an 08' Hoyt Kobalt and I know their bows come with a a floating yoke, but I have been told and have read a bunch of negative things about this type.

This is my first set of new strings and I just want to know which is the BEST option for the Hoyts. If anyone who shoots Hoyt has tried static yokes please tell me if it affected your shooting, tuning, cam lean ETC. I just need to get this new string so I can shoot again!

    Thanks!

If I were you, I'd contact John Mraz and talk with him to see what his thoughts are. John is a great guy, really knows his stuff, and more than likely has a ton of experience setting up that exact bow. I'd trust his input.

Tell him Rick James sent you. ;)
