I drilled a hole through a camouflage cap and using a nylon bolt, washer, and nut attached the Flip Camcorder to it. This is how the video turned out. Definately not professional, but I think it'd be ok for home videos.
The biggest issue was adjusting the bill of the cap to point where I was looking. Another issue was after sitting with that on my head for 2 1/2 hours, I started to get a headache. I used camouflage tape (the camcorder comes in white) on the camera and it covered the microphone holes. I have some sharpees in camo colors I will paint the camera with for future use. Plus side: small and portable push two buttons right on your head and you're recording what you're seeing. So easy even a caveman could do it.
Have you checked to see how it lines up when you take a shot? I'd think your taget would be off to the left side of the screen.
Actually, I'm left handed so the target is off to the right when I shoot, but at 20 yards still in frame.
