ok I shoot a z7 with the maxima 350's. I only was able to get 6 when I bought them because that's all they had at the moment. I am about to get another 6 and I was thinking of the maxima hunter, anyways my question is if I bought some maxima hunter 350's will they fly the same as the regular maxima 350's that I have. thanks scott

    SPECS -
    Model Grs/Inch Spine Diameter
    Maxima Hunter 350 8.9 0.337" 0.297"
    Maxima 350 8.2 0.345" 0.294"

I would think that they "MIGHT" fly a little different, but with technology, and all that non-sense, I doubt it would be anything drastic.
I'm sure someone on here is has some better advice on this. but this is just me. It's not that much of a difference.

They should fly the same. You may/may not see some difference if you are shooting at something like 60+ yds but in all likelyhood they will fly the same.

I did this exact switch three weeks ago.

The "hunters" flew better for me (in my set-up). Before I could never got my FP's and BH's to hit at the same spot. This was because I never tuned seriously before. Without touching a thing I switched to these arrows and they hit the same as my field points. Probably just luck but still this proves there is a little bit of difference in how they fly.

When I hold both of them in each hand I can tell the hunter is heaver so they should hit a little harder and be stronger.

It also should help your FOC since they are supposed to have the weight forward system.

The camo is a nice touch as well.

Needless to say the price isn't not much different (relative) so I will be using the hunter from now on.

They will fly very similar at short ranges. I have shot both and I prefer the hunter shafts for hunting. A bit more weight and positioned for better FOC to boot.
