Challenge accepted, set it up. Speaking of the shooting challenges, it has been pouring rain here since Saturday afternoon. The only sunshine has been in the middle of the work day. I have some catching up to do.
Not sure where else to post this Am watching dirt track Late Models at Tony Stewart's Eldora Raceway track. Opening ceremonies the track announcer announces the guy doing the nights invocation. He does his whole prayer thing, then in closing, he said something to the effect of "And thank you Lord for the fans tonight, and I ask that you bless them here and when they return to their trailers, or wherever they came from".... in the background you could see the track announcer smile, and then start to giggle as he realized what was just said. Think the invocator got his lines mixed up
True but that full arm length tactical wrist guard is almost as bad. In all the time I’ve spent shooting bows I’ve never even put on a wrist guard and I’ve yet to get string slapped a single time, not even when I was starting out and had **** for form. Heck, I don’t even know if I could figure out how to get string slap on my elbow or bicep if I was trying to do it on purpose. I am pretty sure that in order for the string to hit your bicep you would need to have your bow torqued over so far that the string would end up get hitting your nipples instead. If he is that concerned about string slap then he would be better off with a regular length guard and a pair of nipple protectors. I guess the full length guard could help protect him when the string derails because of that fancy draw technique where you hold the bow sideways then point it down, then point it up, then cock your head back and look straight up at the sky.
