    A buddy of mine had an F-150 platinum edition. He broke up with this chick he was dating. She was a chemist or metallurgist or something similar and as revenge for getting dumped she turned the truck into dust. She got a metal called gallium, scratched a little spot of paint off inside the bed, and poured the gallium on the exposed aluminum. The stuff soaked into the aluminum and spread through the entire truck and literally caused the body, engine, and suspension to disintegrate over the course of a weekend - the truck was a total loss. The wheels even fell off. Took the fuzz all of 2 days to catch her since dissolving a truck is a pretty specialized skill that really narrows down the list of potential suspects. She ended up having to buy him a new one as part of her plea deal so she could get probation instead of jail. Apparently she didn’t realize you can get into a lot of trouble for destroying a $70,000 truck that doesn’t belong to you.
