    I imagine everyone who was within a few dozen miles of that and is still standing is hauling ass in the other direction.

    We were without power for 12 hours or so.
    Got up this morning morning. Set up the generator. Made coffee and got the fan turned on my pregger wife. Before making eggs and grits on the camp stove.
    All in all it was a living-room sleepover with the kid and dog.

    I think its safe to say that 14 gauge wire lacks proper overcurrent protection. Also, it looks like that screw terminal is under-torqued.
