It doesn't seem to matter what kind of dog or even cat you have, just try to get yourself a snack without them noticing!

If the faint rustle of a wrapper doesn't get their attention the odor of the snack will. I believe that my dogs can hear a cheese slice being unwrapped even if they are outside.

Not for nothing.. back in my college days I went home to Missouri to deer hunt. One year I snuck a big ol joint with me to smoke on the stand. So about the crack of 9am I fire this thing up and get through about half of it. No sooner had I put that thing out when this really nice 8 point stepped out from the cedars downwind exactly where the smoke was going. I was rifle hunting so blamo and he was down. Years go past and I finally tell my dad I was puffing a doobie when I shot that buck. Turns out the neighbor on that side of the fence grew weed for years and I could see the wheels turning in the old man's head..

I second that... marijuana smoke draws them in better than any estrus or gland extract you can buy.. Cigarette smoke also! It's the best cover scent there is. I didn't even realize how well it worked until the first season after I quit smoking cigs. Found out that my scent control was seriously lacking and the cigs were the only thing making up for it. Before I quit smoking I would always have deer standing underneath my stand completely oblivious to my presence (unless I ashed on them by accident). Once I quit they were blowing and stomping anytime they got within 100 yds downwind.. I'd never used lures and attractants either until after I quit poking the smot and discovered that I'd unknowingly been drawing them in cheech and Chong style. I wish I would've realized it before I quit since I was trying to smoke as little as possible in the stand when what I really should've been doing is going full on chimney.

When I was about 18 I smoked ganja while I was on stand. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Grizzly wintergreen pouches are the only thing that comes with me these days.
