    Actually, my boat is a 2006 aluminum Tracker 175TX and I don’t throw bass back unless they’re too small to fillet or they’re in the 9-10 pound range or higher.

    Between my son in law, a fishing buddy of mine and myself we’ve already brought home and filleted over 400 bass this year, mostly due to a couple of weeks spent in a no-limit lake where they want the population reduced.

    Speaking of boats, I’ve been looking at new ones and I have no interest in a fancy, sparkly fiberglass boat. Sure, they look nice and ARE nice but they aren’t practical for me. I like to get in the stumps and downed timber.

    I’m eyeing the aluminum Ranger bass boats.

    The “over 400 bass” thing wasn’t BS by the way. Here’s a little photographic evidence: from some of the better days.

    The cooler pic is the haul from a day of fishing with an older guy in my hunting club. At the end of the day we had 83 bass in the live well.

    Some of the bass were decent ones. The biggest was 6 1/2 pounds. Not huge, but I was happy.

    It’s a Bimini top, it collapses. When we’re out there with family and dogs the sun gets brutal. It’s a fish and ski, gotta keep everyone happy ! You can still fish off the front and back just can’t cast like an animal haha
