    interesting philosophical question.
    Short answer; yes. Similar in theory. However, significantly different in practice- the main difference being that a gun is an inanimate object that by itself poses zero threat to anyone. A vector pathogen is not an inanimate object (it is alive) and can infect, sicken, and kill on its own without any direct manipulation by a knowing human being. In fact many if not most deadly vector pathogenic diseases are passed from one unknowing host to another.

    Go ahead and don't vax your kid- but if you go that route you shouldn't get to partake in public schools and you should have to pay for all related medical expenses out of pocket. You shouldn't expect either the Government (ie fellow citizens' tax dollars) nor your group health care insurance (again, your fellow citizens' collective premiums) to subsidize your stupidity.

    So Im in this domestic terrorism class yesterday learning about all kinds of seriously weird groups. Hour after hour the class of about 40 laughs at each groups philosophy.....until the instructor tells us about one group(Incel) who says "all the bad things in life are caused by the anger men get from women not having sex with them"....everyone started looking at each other without laughing...like everyone was like "well yeah that makes sense"..I lost it
