Would you rather had a soda or a beer? Myself I am going to take the beer.

    A beer over soda? Sure.

The problem lies in the definition of beer. Much the same way I look at Coors Lite, High Life is not a beer regardless what the label says.

MHL is 4.6 Coors is 4.2. Both beers are pretty plain to be sure, to be honest if someone offered me a high life and the alternative is some craft beer I will take the high life every time.

I always have some low brow beer available should some rapscallion show up unannounced.

I have gravitated to beers brewed in the midwest in general and a local brew pub in particular. Guy was making beer in his basement for fun and worked that into a full time gig. His beers have grown so much in popularity that the place expanded the brewery and now bottles and sells "locally" With 15 beers available on site, most everyone finds something they like. I'd bet even you.

I had a Sam Adams Octoberfest from the tap last night, and it was fantastic. My regular is Miller Light though, so I'm easily impressed.
